Storyboard Commission

Studio Zeng gave me an opportunity to work on a commission project regarding storyboarding. A script for a live action short film was shared with me. The story is about a man who gets a call from a stranger threatening to harm his family if he does not do what the stranger says.
I had a constraint on the total numbers of panels that I could use. So I had to be really economical with the scenes that I was choosing to illustrate. But being limited with the frames meant I could convey more information with each one of them.
I shared a couple of iterations with the Studio Zeng team. Then they would give their reviews and I would then make the necessary changes. Given below is the final storyboard that I shared with them.This project was a really fun exercise.
